In a new commercial for Hyundai, English actor Tom Hardy plunges into the deep.

The video opens on the actor, staring into the abyss. "There was no goal in mind, only questioning the world around us," he muses at the edge of a cliff. In seconds, he jumps, and is soon fully submerged in water, where he kicks and turns before rising to the surface.

It's a beautifully shot commercial and though we're not exactly sure what it has to do with cars, we're pretty happy to watch Hardy brood about in a tight pair of swim trunks any day.
