"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."

West End Bares, London’s version of the annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS fundraiser Broadway Bares, celebrated its eighth year on Sunday night with the Wizard of Oz-themed event “Ruby Strippers.”

Over 100 performers from the West End stage dressed up as characters from the movie before taking it all off to raise money for the Make A Difference Trust, which provides HIV and AIDS care, education and support in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The burlesque event broke last year’s fundraising records by collecting well over $66,000, although the final amount raised has not yet been announced.

Well that was certainly a "different" take on the Wizard of Oz! πŸ€£πŸ‘ πŸ™ŠπŸ™ˆ Amazing night on the #FROW at #westendbares in support of the @madtrust #makeadifferencetrust and the brilliant work they do for those living with, or affected by, #HIV in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa. @aaronrenfree served me all the choreography goals, @chris.warner.drake (I'm saying nothing matey other than blue is definitely your colour! πŸ’™πŸ€£πŸ‘πŸ½), the ridiculous @callum_aylott generally stole the show with all his RedHot100'ness, and shout out to my fellow LGBT Switchboard charity teamies Ian and Mark who MC'd brilliantly alongside the always hilarious @gnfcofficial_ ! All in all, a super night for a super cause! 🌈🍾πŸ₯‚ #AboutLastNight #WhilstYouWereSleeping 🎭
