Alexander Wang launched his debut collection for H&M this morning and we had a peek at the racks (virtually, of course).

While the designer's imprint is definitely on the clothes (literally in some cases), most pieces are almost indistinguishable from H&M's usual offerings. Cropped tees, pullovers with faux-leather patches, scuba dresses—and nearly all of it black, black, black.

So what are shoppers paying $18-$350 for? The Wang cache, most likely.

Which brings up another point: We live for Alexander's fierce designs, but could you walk down the street wearing a sweatshirt that shouted "WANG" in giant letters?
