Where's the Meat? Lady Gaga Tones it Down For Vogue Cover and Spread

No meat dress? No fake blood? No 10-inch heels? Who knew Lady Gaga could be so—dare I say it—soft?

The singer is covering the March issue of American Vogue showcasing a noticeably toned down image. Wearing a pink bob wig, a la 1920′s silent film star Louise Brooks, Gaga showcases some of Spring’s most coveted wares from Louis Vuitton, Haider Ackermann and Alexander McQueen.

While you card-toting members of the “monster” crew might think your pop sovereign has assimilated to being normal (relatively speaking), feel solace in knowing things will more than like be business as usual come time for the release of her next LP “Born This Way” due in May.

And get ready… The big “Born This Way” single (with its own glam artwork) will get its big debut on radios tomorrow morning at 6am ET; it will then hit iTunes and stores at 9am ET. And it will then be playing on a constant loop in your gym, your supermarket, your kitchen and probably your underpants for the rest of all of our natural lives.

Meanwhile, the March issue of Vogue hits newsstands February 22nd. Get a peek by clicking away below… Photos by Mario Testino.
