Miley Cyrus may have gone all twerktastic and freaky in her latest incarnation, but there's a movement afoot to turn her more innocent hit "Party in the USA" into the new national anthem.

A request on the official White House petition site requests "Obama please make Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA" our national anthem. It is what is best for this country." It's about 990,000 signatures short of getting the White House to look it over, but we can't say we totally disagreewith the idea. Fewer celebrities would mangle it at baseball games.
