So Emotional: Happy 50th Birthday, Whitney Houston: WATCH

Today would have been the 50th birthday of the late, great Whitney Houston. We deliberated for a long, long time about which Whitney classic to honor her with. There have been so many that would be appropriate—"Saving All My Love," "I'm Every Woman," Didn't We Almost Have It All," "Where Do Broken Hearts Go"—but, in the end, there was only one logical choice.

"I Will Always Love You" was an international sensation when it came out, spending a record-breaking 14 weeks at the top of the U.S. Billboard charts, and becoming the longest running number one from a movie soundtrack. It reached the top of the charts again, the week of Whitney's passing in 2011.

Below, Whitney talks about how she'd like to be remembered.
