Whitney Houston was laid to rest in Newark, NJ today in a celebration of her life billed as a "Coming Home" by her family. Among the guests in attendance were Jordin Sparks, Brandy and Ray J, Stevie Wonder and Kevin Costner. Close friend Aretha Franklin was unable to attend at the last second due to medical problems.

Among those who spoke at the funeral were Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick, director Tyler Perry and the very, very eloquent Bebe Winans, who gave a remarkably moving speech.

Also honoring Houston's life in a humorous and touching eulogy was her Bodyguard costar Costner, who reflected on the pair's similarities and time together filming.

Alicia Keys also remembered the singer and their close bond before performing "Send Me an Angel." Wonder later serenaded Houston as well with two songs; "Ribbon In the Sky" and "Love's In Need." Finally, R. Kelly performed "I Look to You," the title track on Whitney's final album.
