Whitney Houston’s “Higher Love” Gets the Spandexed Jazzercising Video It Deserves

What a feeling! Kygo takes us back to the '80s for the only song of the summer you need.

The minor miracle that is Kygo and Whitney Houston’s “Higher Love” finally got a video, two months after blessing us with its presence when we needed it most: during WorldPride. It’s nothing revolutionary, but, boy, is it a-fucking-dorable.

Riverdale’s Vanessa Morgan stars in it as a spandex-clad aerobics instructor (or something) in a magical studio that transforms everyone into a totally rad 1980s Jazzercise queen. We think?

Honestly, not really sure what the plot is, but we get some gorgeous Flashdance-esque choreography.

And this tall, dark, and handsome young thing in short shorts getting in touch with his inner Kevin Bacon, serving you Footloose and fancy free.

Whitney even makes a tasteful little cameo, and thankfully not in hologram form.

As summer wraps up, “Higher Love” is still burning hot, and even if the video is a bit late to the party, it’s welcome nonetheless.

And hip thrust!
