Who Should Play The Lead In Disney's Live-Action "Prince Charming"?
We've seen a live-action Cinderella and Snow White. Heck, even Maleficent got her own non-animated movie. Now Disney has announced it's making a live-action movie about the ultimate fairy tale Romeo, Prince Charming.
Charming is something of a stock character—the guy who saves everyone from Snow to Sleeping Beauty—but this film, written by Matt Fogel, will give him his own back story, and it'll be told from the point of view of his less-than-charming brother.
Game of Thrones' Richard Madden played Charming in the recent adaptation of Cinderella, and Josh Dallas played him on Once Upon a Time, but no casting decisions have been made about this new feature.
Of course we've got some suggestions of our own—check them out below.
Michael B. Jordan
Look at that swagger—Michael B. Jordan's got smooth operator written all over him. And with Creed and the Fantastic Four relaunch on their way, he's about to become marquee gold.
Matt Bomer
Um, duh.
Ruby Rose
She makes the girls swoon. She makes the boy swoon. She's a 21st century Charming.
Colton Haynes
If you watch Arrow you know he looks good in leather and can handle a bow and arrow. Plus, who wouldn't want to be awoken from an eternal slumber by this puss?
Chord Overstreet
What's he been doing since Glee ended? It's absolutely criminal that those lips are just sitting there going unused onscreen.
Adam Driver
Okay, so maybe he's not Malibu Ken handsome. But if Prince Charming was actually a royal from obscure Eastern European country, he'd probably look a lot like Adam Driver.
Milk Queen
Minus the goatbeard and witchy nose, Dan Donigan is drop. dead. gorgeous.
He's also a former professional figure skater, so he'd be perfect for the inevitable Disney on Ice version of Prince Charming.
