Who Will Be The New Host Of E!'s "Fashion Police"?

Like mother, like daughter!

After speculation that E!'s once popular Fashion Police would be canceled following the resignations of Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne, it has been reported that Melissa Rivers, daughter of the show's late host, Joan Rivers, will step in to fill her mother's shoes heels.

Griffin had taken over hosting duties on the show following the sudden death of the legendary comedian in September, 2014.

The show's ratings promptly plummeted (as expected). To make matters worse, a questionably racist comment from co-host Giuliana Rancic over Zendaya's hairstyle at this year's Oscars resulted in tremendous backlash–and Osbourne and Griffin stepping down in protest.

Fortunately, sources have confirmed that E! has internally named Melissa Rivers as the new host of the show when it begins taping its new season on August 31.  The show will reportedly also feature a revolving door of celebrities as guest hosts each week, possibly including Wendy Williams.

As seen in the past on their show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, Joan passed down her funny to her daughter, so we're expecting this newly revamped lineup to be a success.

Joan must be cackling from Heaven.
