Why Are There No Gay Zombies On TV?

The gays are all but taking over television according to a recent study, but still no gay zombies on The Walking Dead -- something one blog is having a very big problem with.

It seems that one of the new characters on Walking Dead this season, Andrew, has a gay lover Dexter in the comics. Problem is, Dexter still hasn't shown up this season. Homophobia?

"The storyline in the graphic novel belongs to that of Dexter and Andrew a cliché storyline of 'gay prison sex with a down low inmate relationship and while the character of Andrew was shown and credited in Season 3 – Ep 1 and Ep 2 on television Dexter was not, and Andrew was quickly dispatched to become part of the Walker Buffet in last nights episode," explains Will Kohler on Back2Stonewall.

Now we don't know for sure this storyline has been killed and, as one blogger points out, "The show literally blows right pass 95 pages in the comic in one episode, nixing many other storylines."

We of course want nothing more than to see some gay zombies, and gay zombie love, on television, but we think this may just be someone splitting hairs.

What are you thoughts on the lack of homo zombies on the small screen though?
