The "Will & Grace" Cast Reveals Their Dream Guest Stars
This morning on the Today show, the fab foursome, Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes sat down for yet another interview promoting the return of Will & Grace this week on NBC.
Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie spoke with the actors and asked them questions like who was the most eager to revive the show (Megan Mullally), and who was the most hesistant (Debra Messing, but just for logistical reasons since she lives in New York and has a child).
Lauer went onto talk about his guest appearance on the show, during one of the series' live episodes in the original run. The Today host asked each cast member who would be their dream guest star for the revival and they obviously thought big time.
McCormack said Michelle Obama, Messing named Barbra Streisand, Mullally dreams of Oprah Winfrey and playing it safe, Hayes said Guthrie—who had already said she was available anytime for a cameo on the new season.
This morning's Today show appearance was just the latest Will & Grace interview on NBC's flagship morning news program. Earlier this week they sat down with Kathie Lee and Hoda, and had an cringeworthy interview on the first episode of Megyn Kelly's new talk show, which led Messing to speak out, regretting sitting down on Kelly's couch.
There's no word yet if Streisand and Winfrey will eventually make their way to the Will & Grace set, but other big name guest stars like Jane Lynch and Andrew Rannells have already been announced as guest stars on the new season.
The new season of Will & Grace premieres tonight at 9/8c on NBC.
