The new season won't hold back when talking about sexuality and gender.
"Within the comedy we were shining a light on what was happening in culture right now, politics right now," Messing explained. "Back then we did LGB, but we stopped at B. Now 11 years later the conversation has expanded so there's T, A, I and gender fluidity. There's all these things that are finally being celebrated in our culture. We committed to one another that we are going to be the show we always were. We are going to be talk about what's happening now.
Will and Grace are divorcees.
The former roommates are back under one roof after they divorced Leo (Harry Connick Jr.) and Vince (Bobby Cannavale), respectively. But Connick and Cannavale will be making cameos in the new season.
R.I.P. "Just Jack."

Grace is woke.
When Debra Messing agreed to come back and play Grace, it was important to her that Grace be a feminist and that "she have a voice." Which viewers will see for themselves in the premiere episode.
Will and Grace go into business together.
"They're both doing very well. Grace Adler Designs has become quite a thing, and Will's job as a lawyer — he's doing as well as he can possibly do and he wakes up one day and says he can't spent his life around lawyers and clients and 'I want to do something that I love with someone that I love,'" McCormack said. "So Will and Grace go into business together. I'm not cutting cloth or anything. I'm still a lawyer, but I'm Grace's lawyer, and I think that's going to create a lot of hilarity."
Will & Grace returns this Thursday, September 28 on NBC.
