Condoms are a necessary nuisance for most of us, but a California entrepreneur thinks he has a new love glove that could revolutionize safer sex.

The Galactic Cap, as the condom is called,  fits over just the very tip of the penis, allowing for more friction and sensation. “It leaves the coronal ridge and shaft exposed for more powerful orgasm,” Inventor Charles Powell told L.A. Weekly.

Powell, whose currently raising funds to help get FDA approval, was inspired to develop the cap after the death of two friends from AIDS. But its not totally clear if the device would help stop transmissions of sexually-transmitted disease as well as pregnancy.
