Willam Halts Stand-Up Gig For Gay Couple’s Proposal

Because a couple that drags together, stays together!

Following in the footsteps of famous performers before her, our very own Willam halted a recent stand-up comedy gig in Los Angeles to — you guessed it! — help a gay couple get engaged.

Willam was one of a handful of queens who took the stage at the Ace Hotel in downtown LA earlier this month for the Drag Queens of Comedy tour, hosted by Bianca Del Rio.

In the middle of her set, which she did while twirling around on a hoverboard, thank you very much, Willam called a seemingly random couple up from the crowd and joked that she needed to buy drugs from them.

Willam then handed the guys fake drugs and forced one to “do” them in front of his boyfriend. When the man drops the “drugs” on the floor, he gets down to pick them up and brings himself to bended knee to pop the question.

And the crowd reacted exactly the way you’d think a theater full of homosexuals watching drag queens doing stand-up would.
