WNBA Player Glory Johnson Ends Marriage To Brittney Griner, Now Dating A Man

In April, Johnson agreed to pay child support for Johnson's twins, as well as pay for two nannies.

Now that her marriage to fellow WNBA star Brittney Griner has ended, Dallas Wings forward Glory Johnson has re-entered the dating scene. Her new flame? Tennessee resident Christopher Fry.

Griner and Johnson's relationship was tumultuous from the start: Just weeks before their wedding, the couple were both arrested in response to an alleged domestic dispute.

They appeared on TLC's Say Yes To The Dress, but after just 28 days as a married couple, they split in June—one day after Johnson announced she pregnant and expecting twins.

Daughters Ava and Solei were born 15 weeks premature in October.

Fry, 30, lives near Johnson's parent's home in Knoxville, but is reportedly staying with her in Dallas for the time being. Earlier this year, she posted photos of Fry with her daughter Ava, and a Valentine's Day picture of him with a bouquet of roses.

Griner, who makes about $1.1 million a year, agreed to pay $2,500 monthly in child support for the girls in April, as well as $2,835 a month for two nannies and the bulk of any additional childcare costs.

Griner attempted to have their marriage annulled, claiming she suspected Johnson was having an affair with a man, but her request was rejected.

"In the week prior to the wedding, I attempted to postpone the wedding several times until I completed counseling, but I still went through with it," she said at the time. "I now realize that was a mistake."

Johnson has now filed for divorce.
