After an ex-gay group bought a billboard in Richmond, Virginia, touting its belief that "nobody is born gay," the city's LGBT and ally community has come together to promote a message of love.

Last week more than 100 people gathered at the Gay Community Center of Richmond, and now an alternate billboard has gone up along the Interstate 95/64 corridor declaring, “We are all born to love.” It's located about a mile down the road from the one sponsored by Parents and Friends of Ex-gays (PFOX)

“We are so proud as to how our community rallied to address this issue,” said GCCR director Bill Harrison. “This ordeal has been an excellent way to raise awareness of the possible harms of so-called reparative therapy.”

The ad space was actually donated by Lamar, the company that rented out the original space to PFOX. In the coming weeks more ads supporting Richmond’s LGBT  community are expected, also free of charge.

Hunter, who met Caysever at a concert, proposed a few months ago and told friends about the planned wedding over Thanksgiving, reports Daily Sabah.

"We agree with the district court that, whatever unique message plaintiffs might intend to convey by depicting condomless sex, it is unlikely that viewers of adult films will understand that message," said Judge Susan P. Graber.

The ordinance was championed by the Los Angeles-based AIDS Healthcare Foundation as a means of reducing sexually transmitted diseases, which are ten times more prevalent among adult film actors than the general public. AHF president Michael Weinstein said he hopes the industry continues to appeal, allowing the Supreme Court to issue a final ruling on the matter.
