World AIDS Day -- Celebs Who Care

This World AIDS Day, let's take some time to acknowledge some of the amazing celebs who have gone above and beyond to contributing to the various causes dedicated to educating, and hopefully one day eradicating, this awful epidemic.

  • Lady Gaga, RuPaul, Elton John, Cyndi Lauper, Nicki Minaj and Mary J. Blige -- These artists have all participated in the hugely successful MAC Viva Glam campaign, a line that donates a portion of all proceeds to the MAC Viva Glam AIDS fund
  • Alicia Keys -- Alicia founded Keep A Child Alive, a charity that provides funds to those in Africa suffering from HIV/AIDS.
  • Kenneth Cole -- This designer is committed to the cause every single day, donating a large portion of profits from his hugely successful line to HIV/AIDS charities.
  • Diddy -- Say what you will about this actor, rapper, record exec, but when he ran the 2003 New York Marathon, he raised over $2 million for New York children afflicted with HIV/AIDS
  • Bono -- So involved in the cause is this Irish singer, he has repeatedly been a Noble Prize nominee for his efforts.
