Valentina, Jinkx Monsoon, Bob The Drag Queen And Detox Get Their Own Web Series
Today, World of Wonder, the production company behind RuPaul's Drag Race, announced a new streaming platform, WOW Presents Plus, a subscription-based version of its YouTube channel, the home of the popular digital series RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked.
WOW Presents Plus will not house Drag Race or the upcoming season of Untucked, but will be the home of new shows starring other former Drag Race contestants.
Season 8 winner, Bob the Drag Queen, will star with his assistant, Luis, in Bobbin' Around, as the two film themselves traveling around the globe from gig to gig. Season 9 Miss Congeniality, Valentina, will be the focus of La Vida de Valentina, while Jinkx Monsoon will star in Cool Mom and Detox will host Detox's Life Rehab.
In addition to Drag Race queens, WOW Presents Plus will air shows starring Chris Crocker, the House of Avalon, and AB Soto. Plus, the streaming service will house some of World of Wonder's vast library to watch anytime like the Emmy-winning documentary, Out of Iraq, along with Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys and Becoming Chaz.
"As WOW has grown, we've evolved a brand and a voice," said WOW co-founder Fenton Bailey. "We're trying to grow that experience for our tribe and give them every possible way that they can not only tell their own stories, but see their kinds of stories be told."
WOW Presents Plus is available now online, and for Roku, Apple TV and Chromecast for $4 a month or $40 annually.
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3 will premiere in winter 2018 on VH1.
