It was the body slam heard 'round the world: WWE superstar Darren Young stunned TMZ's cameras at LAX when he told them point blank he was gay.

Asked what he thought of the chances of a gay pro wrestler making it in the WWE, Young replied,  “Absolutely. Look at me. I’m a WWE superstar and to be honest with you, I’ll tell you right now, I’m gay. And I’m happy. I’m very happy.”

You just have to love how laidback Young—known in the sport as "Mr. No Days Off "—was about the whole thing. Maybe it was a setup, but we'd still be peeing our pants, especially considering how testosterone-y pro wrestling is. ”I'm hoping to make a difference and show people that it isn’t about your sexuality, it's about the person.”
