Wynter heats up springtime in Coachella last month. Next stop: Summer!
Singer/songwriter/rising-diva Wynter Gordon has been having a bang-up spring. Her slamming dance/pop tune “Dirty Talk” was a blockbuster in the UK, Europe and Aussie-land. And she made her American TV premiere at Logo’s NewNowNext Awards last month. Whoop!
And did you know that her tune “Putting It Out There (Pride)” was chosen to be the official song of the 2011 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. The “It Gets Better” type banger was a nice addition to the growing genre of pop songs celebrating gay pride ala Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”
Anyway, now Wynter is back with a new song that clearly demonstrates she’s got diva chops! Here’s “Till Death,” a song that could definitely be one of this summer’s anthems. It certainly reminds me of “Firework” or “Party in the USA” in a good way.
You can whoop it up with Wynter live in June, when she takes the stage on June 3rd at PrideFest in Kansas City alongside Cyndi Lauper. And on June 12th, she’ll dazzle the kids at Milwaukee PrideFest. Rainbows for everyone!
That video!!!? Lipstick! Confetti! Gold skulls! Happy talk of death! It’s like a disco-musical version of Hamlet. Wynter Gordon is the new Polonius!
After the jump, a few more Wynter pics. ‘Cuz she’s fierce that way.
Miss Wynter flanked by her DJ/producer buds Laidback Luke and DJ Skrillex. Adorbs.
