Yaaaaas! "Degrassi" Gets Saved By Netflix
After 14 seasons, Degrassi: The Next Generation was set to come to an end this summer. But never fear, Netflix just swooped in and saved it.
Netflix already gave a second chance to Arrested Development by bringing it back from the dead, and now it is doing the same for the long-running TeenNick soap.
Perhaps best known for introducing the world to Drake, in the form of wheelchair-bound basketball player Jimmy Brooks, Degrassi has always dealt with difficult issues teens face. Past storylines include topics like HIV, teen pregnancy, and coming out of the closet.
Stay tuned for the 15th season to air on Netflix in 2016.
