Years & Years Front Man Olly Alexander Returns To Acting With "Funny Bunny"

"Lemme ask you something, Titty—you ever seen a woman naked?"

Olly Alexander isn't just the out lead singer of Years & Years—he's an experienced actor who studied performing arts in England.

His latest role is in Funny Bunny, a new dramedy from Brown Bunny director Alison Bagnall.

The film follows Gene (Kentucker Audley), a street canvasser who encounters Titty (Alexander), an emotionally-arrested 19-year-old who sued his own father and scored a major inheritance.

Gene discovers that Titty has an ongoing online relationship with the beautiful and reclusive Ginger (Joslyn Jensen), and convinces him to meet her in person for the first time. Along the way the two men draw closer even as they're both pulled toward toward Ginger, an animal activist in need of rescue herself.

The three actors collaborated on the film's script with Bagnall—crafting a film that explores human connections in a quirky and endearing way. Funny Bunny had its world premiere at SXSW this spring, and is headed for a limited theatrical release in New York starting November 13.
