Years & Years Stop Concert For Gay Couple's Adorable Proposal

Congratulations, Matthew and Tyler!

Years & Years paused a show in Seattle Saturday night to welcome a gay couple on stage for a surprise proposal.

In video posted on YouTube, queer frontman Olly Alexander pulls an unsuspecting fan named Tyler from the audience and asks for his name. "The reason I've brought you up here is someone here tonight told me they've got a really mad crush on you," he says.

With that, Tyler's boyfriend, Matthew, emerges from backstage and the crowd goes absolutely wild.

"Baby, I love you so much. I would like to be with you everyday and give you the world," Matthew says into the mic.

"So there's two things in this world I'd like to give you tonight, 1) to meet Olly, your favorite artist in the world, and 2)," he says, reaching his hand in his pocket. At this point he's drowned out by the crowd's raucous reaction as he gets down on one knee.

The band posted a photo of the couple mid-proposal on Twitter yesterday, congratulating them on taking the big step forward.

"congratulations to Matthew and Tyler who got engaged at our Seattle show ✨???? !!!! xxx" they wrote.

Yes, congratulations Matthew and Tyler!
