Your Week in Beefcake: Hakeem's Abs Star in a Music Video on "Empire"
Your Week in Beefcake starts with a new Hart of Dixie as Wade (Wilson Bethel) tried to use that after-sex glow to convince Zoe to take their relationship public.
While they continued to debate the topic they found themselves stuck hiding out in a kitchen with only tablecloths to wear.
Over on NBC, Friday also brought a Grimm double-feature of beefcake. First, Nick (David Giuntoli) in bed with Juliette.
Later, Captain Reynard (Sasha Roiz) did a bare-chested search for bullet wounds.
I rely on fandom to keep me up to date with Black Sails. Apparently Billy Bones (Merlin alum Tom Hopper) made a surprising return. I'm not certain this is from last week's episode but it certainly makes a good argument for why fans were thrilled to have him back.
The latest Masterpiece Mystery series, Grantchester had detective Christopher Foyle taking a bath. (Thanks to JohnED for the tip!)

This week's Jane the Virgin featured a classic soapy double-cross as Rogelio (Jaime Camil) was written out of his show for his diva behavior-- except all of that diva behavior was engineered by his devious assistant.
Sleepy Hollow was terrorized by a sorcerer (Johnathon Schaech) who escaped from Purgatory. Schaech's good looks were covered up with makeup but he did sport the cloak-but-no-shirt combo. And may I say this now 45-year-old actor is aging very well!
This week's baddie on The Flash was a teleporter who broke her low life-- but very sexy-- boyfriend (Michah Parker) out of prison.
Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) filmed his lavish music video on the latest Empire, which was a song about how he's too badass to wear a shirt. Or something, I might have been distracted.
His entourage didn't understand why he was spending his time in front of a green screen, so he had to offer a demonstration.
One of the victims on Stalker this week was a high school coach (Andrew W. Walker) who finds his after-workout shower interrupted by a few noises, though he isn't in danger until after he gets dressed.
We got some surprise sitcom beefcake this week thanks to The Big Bang Theory. Amy's secret Little House on the Prairie fanfic — where Amelia meets a handsome but aloof time-traveller named Cooper. Amy insists any similarity between "Cooper" and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) is entirely coincidental. However, the episode did end with a scene from Amy's fanfic as Amelia giving Cooper a bath and, just by coincidence, Amy and Sheldon played out those roles.
The fic got steamier as Amelia had to towel Cooper dry.
How to Get Away with Murder had Annalise restart her affair with hunky police detective Nate (Billy Brown).
Another Thursday night mystery, Pivot's Fortitude had more of Aaron McCusker. The arctic is kind of a cold place to not be wearing a shirt--- though we'll happily suspend disbelief!
Thanks to Ed, I now know MTV UK has a reality show called Ex on the Beach where people who think they're on a dating show are surprised to be confronted by their exes. On the beach. It's basically an excuse to give fit people a chance to wear swim suits and get emotional on camera. I haven't been able learn much about cast member Connor Hunter's personality except that he's from Essex and he seems proud of his legs. I guess that tells us something about the show.
Rogan O'Connor is a model and a member of the stripper troupe the Dreamboys.
Rogan is also the type to show off his lack of tan lines on TV. We approve.
Thanks to FoxCrane, I learned about Peter Beale's (Ben Hardy) recent shirtless scene on Eastenders.

Before they headed off to General Hospital's boat party of doom, Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad (Parry Shen) had one of those getting-dirty-before-we-shower quickies.
Afterward, Brad noticed Lucas' new phoenix figurine. I guess that's where they've been all this time, finding little figurines by the harbor?
After their shower, Brad and Lucas had their hands all over each other again. I suspect this is not how things would have gone if Lucas got involved with Felix.
When they finally got around to getting ready for the party, they were having the kind of optimistic discussion of their future that made it seem pretty likely one of them was doomed. Thankfully, I underestimated General Hospital's ability to make a storyline about Sonny.
That covers this week's goodness. Got any tips for next week's edition? E-mail us at weekinbeefcake@outlook.com or leave a comment and let us know!
