Zac Efron is all grown up guys. The star of High School Musical will be seen later this year in Lee Daniels’ new film The Paperboy, which required the 24-year-old to dance around in his underwear and allow Oscar winner Nicole Kidman to pee on him. This already sounds infinitely better than The Lucky One.
To promote his new flick, Zac sat down with The Advocate to talk all about his new role and, more importantly, the gays. When asked how he felt about his popularity in the gay community, Zac said;
It’s very flattering. After High School Musical and Hairspray, I’ve always felt embraced by the gay community, and I feel incredibly grateful and honored. This is actually a very special interview for me. I’m extremely aware of the support I’ve gotten from you guys over the years, and it’s amazing that it’s taken this long to sit down and actually discuss it, but please know that it hasn’t gone unappreciated. I’m so excited to be talking to you.
Boy do we love us some Efron.
