Zachary Quinto Got Busted Trying To Use A Fake Name At Starbucks
Zachary Quinto thought he could use some Vulcan trickery during a recent trip to Starbucks.
The Star Trek actor was on The Late Late Show with James Corden, when Corden brought up how Quinto tried to use a fake name to order a coffee at a Starbucks in Ann Arbor, Michigan, when he was there working.
We know this happened because a University of Michigan student who was in the coffee shop at the time tweeted:
We have to agree with Sophia that the eyebrows are a dead giveaway.
Quinto told Corden that he used Josh because he actually mistakenly gets called that fairly often, but he did recall how a girl on a laptop was snickering at him when he ordered his drink.
"She has my number, she thinks I'm trying to be sleuthy," he said in retrospect.
Quinto can next be seen in the upcoming Broadway production of Boys in the Band—but we're guessing he won't try the same name trick at a Starbucks in Manhttan's theater district.
