That’s because the actresses and editor are all big fans of Italian design house Marni (as evidenced by the above photos). And Marni — who earlier this year also produced a collaborative line with H&M — have also created a limited line of 100 colorful, creative chairs. The chairs reflect the designer’s typical use of bold color and color-blocking, and were produced by former Colombian prisoners in order to facilitate their re-entry into society. The chairs were created out of metal and multi-colored PVC threads, and will be on display at Milan’s Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2012 from April 18 to 22. Funds raised from the sale of the chair will be donated to ICAM, a Milanese organization that reunites imprisoned mothers and their children. We love their bright colors and durability. But we’ll have to love them from afar — chances are they’re way, way out of our price range.
