Check Out Chi Chi DeVayne in First Trailer for Apple TV+ Series “Little America”

The Creole queen is back on our screens!

Husband and wife team Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon are RuPaul's Drag Race superfans, and they were even guest judges on Season 10 of the reality competition series.

Now they're bringing their love for all things drag to their newest project, Little America, a new anthology series coming to Apple TV+ in January 2020. Little America tells stories about immigrants—from Syria, Uganda, Singapore, Mexico, Iran, India, and Nigeria—who come to the United States looking for new lives.

The emotional trailer debuted this week. In addition to out actor Zachary Quinto, it also shows a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot of Drag Race Season 8 and All Stars Season 3 queen Chi Chi DeVayne performing in full drag at a nightclub.

Not only is Chi Chi featured in the series, but one of the episodes, "Rafiq," centers around a gay character and is written by Amrou Al-Kadhi, a nonbinary British political writer and activist.

If you watch Drag Race then you already know that Chi Chi can bring it on stage, so even though there's already too much to watch these days, we'll make some time for Little America when it hits the streaming service on January 17.
