"Drag Race" Legends Invade Small Town USA in New HBO Reality Series

"Game of Thrones" WHO?

Move over House of Targaryen because the House of Ru is click-clackin' their heels over to HBO.

The premium cable net announced today that Drag Race legends Bob the Drag Queen, Shangela, and Eureka O'Hara are starring in a new six-part unscripted series, We're Here, that will recruit "small-town residents across America to participate in a one-night-only drag show."

The trio will inspire and teach their own "drag daughters" to step outside their comfort zone "for a night of no-holds-barred, full-on drag."

So To Wong Foo... but make it an HBO reality series. Got it.

“Drag is about confidence and self expression,” says Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president, HBO programming. “We are so thrilled to showcase the transformative power of the art form with our audience.”

We're Here is far from the first time Drag Race queens have stepped out of the werk room to star in their own series. Alyssa Edwards was the focus of the Netflix reality series Dancing Queen, and Bebe Zahara Benet, Thorgy Thor, Jujubee, and Alexis Michelle gave bridal makeovers on TLC's Drag Me Down the Aisle.
