Kim Richards' ongoing battle to maintain her sobriety is no secret–its been acutely documented/exploited on The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills since the show's first season in 2010.

While much of Richards' storyline on the just-wrapped fifth season revolved around fellow cast-member Lisa Rinna questioning Richards' sobriety, Kim has fervently denied the claim, accusing Rinna of attempting to defame her.

Two days after the conclusion of the series' three-part reunion, Richards was arrested for allegedly refusing to leave the Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge.

Staff called local police around 1:30am on April 16 when a reportedly inebriated Richards would not exit the hotel bathroom.

Richards was booked for public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer.

Now, rather than use this an an opportunity to reflect and spend time with her family (including sister, Kyle), Richards is keeping the media circus swelling by sitting down with, who else, but Dr. Phil.

"I was angry and frightened and I was scared. I knew what I had done," Richards told Dr. Phil, according to an early transcript. "The whole night is my fault. None of this would have happened if I didn’t drink."
