Pete Buttigieg Pounced on Joe Biden's Debate Gaffe, Snatching Up Joe3030 Domain

Sometimes you just have to make a shady purchase.

Former Vice President Joe Biden made another in a long line of gaffes during last night's Democratic primary debate, instructing his supporters to "go to Joe 3-0-3-3-0 and help me in this fight."

What he meant to say was to text "Joe" to that number, but his misstatement led people to believe he was referencing a website. Many were quick to joke that he was perhaps hinting at a run for office in 3030.

While everyone was busy making jokes, Mayor Pete Buttigieg's team got busy making a purchase: snatching up Joe3030.com and redirecting it to his own campaign website.

Meanwhile, a college student named Joshua Fayer also saw an opportunity in Biden's flub, buying up Joe30330.com for a fake presidential campaign site of his own.

Under the "donate" tab, visitors are encouraged to give their money to Buttigieg.

"Pete's really a guy who knows how to stand up for American values, and, were I not running myself, I'd for sure be voting for him," the site declares.
