Two employees of a San Bernardino sex shop fought off an armed robber by throwing sex toys at him until he left the store.

The attempted robbery occurred last Wednesday just before closing at Lotions & Lace when a masked man entered the shop with what appeared to be a gun.

Amy, who was working the cash register, said she was convinced the gun was a fake, so she wasn't scared.

"I just thought he was trying to be funny, to scare us," she explained. "But then I saw the gun and it was like, really? I don't have time for this."

Surveillance video captured the incident and shows Amy yelling at the robber while her coworker pelts him with dildos.

The man eventually fled the store empty-handed, which the ladies say happened because he underestimated them.

"I think he was a coward," remarked Amy's coworker. "Coming in and trying to get over on two females and not realizing that we're pretty feisty."

Police released the footage and photographs of the man who they say is still at large.
