Apple "First Dance" Ad Celebrating Marriage Equality Is The Cutest Thing You'll See All Day

The emotional spot features some of the first gay couples to wed in Australia.

Apple is celebrating equal marriage in Australia with a heartwarming "First Dance" commercial shot entirely on an iPhone X.

Same-sex marriage arrived Down Under in December, with the first couple tying the knot in January. Apple invited some same-sex couples to film their first dances as newlyweds on its latest model, set to the tune of a cover of INXS's "Never Tear Us Apart" by Courtney Barnett.

Apple also released separate 15-second clips from three couples featured in the final cut.

In the past, Apple's shown support for LGBT equality with a rainbow emoji, a set of gender-neutral emojis, and a RED iPhone 7 collection to benefit HIV/AIDS research. Last year, Tim Cook used his announcement of the iPhone 8 to make a pitch for marriage equality in Australia.
