Chris Pine’s Body Is Also Wonderful In New “Wonder Woman” Trailer

Gal Gadot fights and flirts in another epic look at her upcoming superhero movie.

A new trailer for the upcoming superhero film Wonder Woman has been released online following its debut last night during Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards.

Focusing on the DC Comics character's origin story, the trailer shows Gal Gadot's gorgeous Wonder Woman as young Diana of Themyscira, who trains for battle with the Amazons and unleashes the mystical power of her bracelets on her warrior aunt (Robin Wright). "But she must never know the truth about what she is," warns an Amazonian elder.

The trailer also reveals more of the romantic chemistry between Diana and confidant Steve Trevor (Star Trek's Chris Pine), who meet-cute at the start of World War I. Pine's heroic back muscles make an impressive cameo.

Gadot's modern incarnation of Wonder Woman was introduced last year in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but Wonder Woman, in theaters June 2, will mark the character’s first solo film. Lynda Carter famously played the crime-fighter on television in the ’70s.

The movie's first official trailer was revealed last summer during the Warner Bros. panel at Comic-Con. A second trailer was released in November.

Warner Bros. also released a dorm wall-ready new poster for Wonder Woman on Friday. No word yet on whether there will be a shirtless Steve Trevor poster to match.
