Members of the world's largest LGBT gaming guild threw on their virtual booty shorts and held a pride parade in celebration of Final Fantasy XIV's introduction of same-sex marriage.

Last month, the game's director and producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed that people of FFXIV‘s fictional world, Eorzea, “will be able to pledge their eternal love and or friendship in a ceremony of eternal bonding. And this will be open to people regardless of race, creed, and gender. Two players…if they want to be together, in Eorzea, they can—through this eternal bonding ceremony.”

The brilliantly-titled Rough Trade Gaming Community created their own pride parade to thank Yoshida, but also to remember one of their players who was tragically murdered in the Clagary stabbings in April. "Even when tragedy affects our community," Rough Trade said in a statement, "there's still a reason to keep on marching."
