RuPaul, Elton John, The Muppets Joining Lady Gaga's Super-Gay Thanksgiving Special: FIRST LOOK
Looks like Lady Gaga and RuPaul were doing more than just celebrating her album's completion the other day: ABC has revealed more deets on her upcoming Thanksgiving Day special, including the fact that it'll feature duets with RuPaul, Elton John, the Muppets and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
We repeat: RuPaul and Lady Gaga are doing a duet. And there will be Muppets. We'll give you a second to take that in.
As with her previous Thanksgiving special, Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular will feature Mother Monster performing holiday hits—as well as ARTPOP tracks like "Applause"—and a duet with Kermit the Frog.
"I knew it just wouldn't be a complete night of laughter and memories without the Muppets!" Gaga told ABC. "Can't wait to see the gang again, and I hope Miss Piggy's still not mad about Kermit," she continued. "We're just friends!"
Kermit was also interviewed about the upcoming special, and threw a little shade: "We have a long history with Ms. Gaga, so we jumped at the chance to do a holiday special with her. We won't even mind if she mistakes some of the Muppets for pieces of her wardrobe—again."
Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular airs November 28 at 9:30 on ABC.
