It seems that the most intriguing and newsworthy story of 2012 has all been a hoax -- Gwyneth Paltrow did not call Kate Moss fat while the two enjoyed a private Mexican holiday for Sir Philip Green's birthday. After an incredibly trustworthy source told the post that Gwyneth called Kate a lard ass and Kate then threw crisps in Gwyneth's face, Gwyn's rep was quick to get on the horn and say, "There was no such fight. This is a fabrication." Bummer.

In fact, Gwyn and Kate were quite good friends for years in the nineties and early aughts, though they now run in different circles. Gwyneth of course had two children with a holistic pop star while Kate did coke with a junkie.

This does not mean however Gwyneth was not harassing other guests about their weight at the party. She harasses us about our weight and lifestyle choices every goddamn week with goop.

Maybe we should throw some crisps in that know-it-all's face next time we see her.
