Jake Zyrus, who portrayed Rachel Berry's golden voiced nemesis Sunshine Corazon on the popular TV show, made the announcement on Twitter earlier this week.

"My first tweet as Jake," he wrote. "Overwhelmed. Saw all your comments. Saw all your love comments and I'm so happy. Finally. I love you, everyone and see you soon."

The powerhouse vocalist rose to international stardom in 2007 via YouTube. In 2010, he became the first Asian solo singer in history to land in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart with his debut album Charice.

Zyrus first openly acknowledged his gender identity in a 2014 interview with Oprah in which he said his "soul was male," though at the time he still identified as a lesbian.

Now, it seems he's ready to fully live in his truth and we couldn't be happier for him!
