Lesbian Twitter ™ Lost Its Mind Over Janelle Monáe’s “Pynk” Video

"I need to replicate this look immediate or else I will literally die."

Yesterday, Janelle Monáe dropped the super-sapphic video for new single “Pynk”—and lesbian Twitter was instantly obsessed.

Some fans believe the video, which sees Monáe strutting her stuff in bright pink vulva pants, is her not-so-subtle coming out. (Monáe has long refused to label her sexuality, only calling herself “sexually liberated.”)

Others wondered if Monáe and Tessa Thompson, who emerges from between her legs at one point in the video, are hooking up in real life. (The new track comes a few weeks after Monáe’s equally queer “Make Me Feel” video, which also costarred Thompson.)

Monáe’s upcoming album, Dirty Computer, hits stores April 27.
