Know Someone Who's Transitioning? There's A Hallmark Card For That
Been searching for that perfect card to send a friend who's transitioning?
After discovering it at a CVS drugstore, Renata Sancken recently tweeted photos of a new Hallmark card supporting trans loved ones.
Filed under the section “Encouragement: Transgender/Transitioning,” the card features a butterfly on the front with the words “You’re becoming who you’ve always been.” Inside, the card reads, “How wonderful is that?”
"I've never seen Hallmark cards for gender transitioning before!" Sancken writes. "Capitalism triumphs over hate??"
Hallmark responded, tweeting, "Love always wins."

The card is available on Hallmark's website with this description: "Offer your support and encouragement for the person your friend or loved one has become."
The site also sells a card that reads, "You are Trans-Tastic." Other current LGBT-themed Hallmark cards include "4 Boobs > 2 Boobs: That’s Lesbian Math" and “Closets Are For Clothes.”
The greeting card company has included the LGBT community in its merchandise and ad campaigns for almost a decade.
