On Wednesday, Lady Gaga took to social media to reveal the new release date for Chromatica, her highly anticipated sixth studio album.

The record was originally slated to drop in April, but the "Stupid Love" singer followed the example of other artists and opted to postpone the release, citing the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us,” Gaga tweeted in March, “and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”

It appears the One World: Together at Home concert curator has had a change of heart, though. According to Gaga's Instagram, the Chromatica journey kick offs on Friday, May 29, when the album drops via Interscope Records.

The record will feature collabs with Elton John, Ariana Grande, and Blackpink.
