Madonna is performing in Australia for the first time in 23 years, and to reward her Down Under fans for their patience, she’s given them some special treats.
First she rolled out an intimate “Tears of a Clown” show at Melbourne’s historic Forum Theater.
And then this week in Brisbane, the Queen of Pop performed Aussie diva Kylie Minogue’s international hit “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”
Now before you troll Madge for not being exactly pitch-perfect, let’s remember a few things:
1. You try singing 30 nights in a row and then throwing in a brand new song you’ve never performed before.
2. It’s not about how well she sang the song, it’s about one icon paying tribute to another. In fairy tales, when the queen visits another queen’s kingdom, she always shows respect.
3. Bitch, she’s Madonna!
