Ben Affleck has been in the news a lot recently, winning awards and passive-aggressively calling out the Academy - but what's his erstwhile collaborator and BFF Matt Damon been up to? The answer: starring as Liberace's lover in the upcoming film Behind The Candelabra. You can see him in all his gay glory on an upcoming cover of EW magazine.
Speaking about his preparations for the role, Damon reminisced about getting a spray tan, saying, “every Sunday night, this girl would come to my house and I would stand in my garage and I would hike my boxer briefs up into the crack of my ass and she would give me a spray tan.” Jealous?
And in case you were hoping Damon would open up about the films' sex scenes, you're in luck. Damon said, "The scene where I’m behind [Michael Douglas] and going at him, we did that in one take. We do it. Cut. There’s a long pause. And then you just hear Steven [Soderbergh] go, 'Well… I have no notes.'" Where's that scene in The Bourne Ultimatum?
We're looking forward to Behind The Candelabra. Until then, we guess we'll have to just re-watch The Talented Mr. Ripley over and over.
