Mel B Is Down For A Spice Girls Reunion Tour, But "It Has To Be All Of Us"
Melanie B is totally pumped for the upcoming (and still technically rumored!) Spice Girls reunion tour next year, which is planned to coincide with the 20th anniversary of their debut single “Wannabe.”
Scary Spice was on The Meredith Vieira Show this week, where she confirmed that she is “the ringleader” trying to get the girls back together again. If it were up to her, she says, The Spice Girls will be touring the world next year with Victoria Beckham.
“I’m forcing them a little bit – I’ve been saying it for five years,” she said. “We are reuniting, aren’t we? We are? We are? We need to!”
“If we do something it has to be all of us – that’s the whole point,” she added, calming rumors that the tour would go on sans Posh Spice. “As soon as there’s something to actually announce, I’ll be yelling it from the rooftops!”
Victoria Beckham has famously said more than once that her Spice Girls days are behind her, though she’d give her blessing if the group goes on as a foursome — for the second time. Mel B called rumors that there's bad blood between Posh and the rest of the ladies "utter BS."
Last week Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, dumped some gas on the Spice Girls reunion rumors by also confirming the girls were “in talks.”
“I think it’s really flattering that people are still supportive of the Spice Girls individually and collectively, that’s beautiful, it’s really nice,” she said.
