Chris Mears is thisclose to toppling Tom Daley from his World's Sexiest Diver pedestal: The 21-year-old Olympian appears in a sexy photo shoot in the debut issue of Winq, a new gay men's magazine.

Last year Mears posed nude in  Gay Times' annual Naked issue, declaring “I’m trying to steal [Tom Daley's] gay fan base by doing this shoot.” He also admits that since the 2012 London Olympics he's gotten propositioned on Twitter quite frequently." I’ve had a couple of funny suggestions, normally guys asking for foursomes with me, Tom and [fellow Team Great Britain diver] Jack Laugher.”

Winq, which debuted last week, is billed as a luxury lifestyle and entertainment magazine. In addition to Mears' summer swimsuit spread, the premier issue also includes interviews with Jared Leto and Boy George, and columns on fatherhood and LGBT rights in India.
