Paula Deen Channels Madonna For Head-Scratching "Vogue" Performance
Paula Deen attempted to come for Madonna's crown on last night's Dancing With The Stars. The result was a little less smooth than... butter. (Of course, it was no ham in the face).
Though the Queen of Pop's signature ode to ball culture comes with signature hand and arm-ography, Deen's interpretation was oddly more "Macarena" meets The Spice Girls' "Stop."
Deen looked effectively sedated throughout most of the performance as she channeled way deep down to find her inner Marie Antoinette. (Snaps to whoever did her wig.)
“Madonna is a sexual icon, y’all, and we don’t have one thing in common,” Dean said with a hearty chuckle in an attempt at self-satirization.
“You look gorgeous,” the night’s guest judge, the legendary Olivia Newton-John, told Deen after her performance.
Unfortunately, together with her DWTS partner Louis van Amstel, Deen only managed to score a 24/40 and as a result (SPOILER ALERT!) was booted off the show.
