“Queer Eye” Guy Jonathan Van Ness Making His Broadway Debut

JVN will join co-star Antoni Porowski in "Celebrity Autobiography," honey!

Yaaas, Broadway!

Jonathan Van Ness, resident grooming expert on Netflix's Emmy-winning Queer Eye reboot, has joined the cast of Celebrity Autobiography, Broadway World reports.

Van Ness will join Queer Eye co-star Antoni Porowski for the limited Broadway's engagement's final December 17 performance, which will also include Mario Cantone, Rachel Dratch, Susan Lucci, and Michael Urie.

The long-running off-Broadway comedy series, which has transferred to Broadway for three holiday performances at the Marquis Theatre, invites actors and comedians to read aloud from memoirs of the famous and infamous. The show has featured the tell-all tomes of Britney Spears, Madonna, Burt Reynolds, Loni Anderson, Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds, Sarah Palin, Miley Cyrus, Vanna White, and many more.

Created by Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel, Celebrity Autobiography has been produced around the U.S. and even inspired a Bravo TV special. The rotating Broadway cast also includes Alec Baldwin, Cecily Strong, Lewis Black, Tony Danza, Tate Donovan, and Matthew Broderick.

Celebrity Autobiography's Broadway premiere will mark JVN's Broadway debut.

The breakout Queer Eye star earned an Emmy nomination for his short-form digital series Gay of Thrones. He also hosts a podcast, Getting Curious, and tickets are now on sale for his upcoming comedy tour, Jonathan Van Ness: Road to Beijing.

The third season of Queer Eye, which has moved production from Georgia to Missouri, is set to premiere on Netflix in 2019.
