Paul had enormous success with the 1978 six-hour TV mini-series King, playing Martin Luther King Jr. It earned nine Emmy nominations, including one for Paul for Best Actor.

We'll be spotlighting 100 more of the greatest minor hits of the decade, the songs you don’t hear on any 80’s nostalgia show. Songs that missed the top ten, or top twenty … or top forty. Hopefully these forgotten gems may ring a long dormant bell, or for younger readers, provide a pop music history lesson.

At #34 is "Cool Places" by Sparks and Jane Wiedlin

American duo Sparks had their biggest chart success with this collaboration with Jane Wiedlin, who had her first chart success outside the Go-Gos. It peaked at #49 in April 1983, and has been part of the Go-Gos set list since they resumed touring over the years.
