Rihanna Launches New MAC Viva Glam Lipstick, AIDS Fundraising Campaign

RiRi follows in the footsteps of RuPaul, Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper and Nicki Minaj as the new face of the Viva Glam line and the AIDS Fund initiative it supports. The red-frosted Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick ($16) and MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Tinted Lipglass ($15) are available now at MAC stores and on the MAC Cosmetics website

rihanna viva glam 2“I’m honored to join forces with the MAC AIDS Fund and UNAIDS in the fight against AIDS,” said Rihanna, who had in a hand in all aspects of prodution, down to the packaging. “I want to help reach as many young people around the world as I can. While we need to begin with education, we also need to deliver HIV testing and treatment to the millions of young people who need our help, which is exactly what we plan to do.”

Sales should be brisk: RiRi Woo, the lipstick Rihanna launched for MAC Cosmetics last spring, sold out after just three hours.
